HostelsClub's U.S. Winter Sale
Today leading budget accommodation booking site, HostelsClub.com is launching their first American Winter Sale. For the next six weeks, clients from all over the world can participate in the generous discounts many hostels are giving in order to keep the travellers a break from their holiday expenses.
This winter sale includes discounts as much as 50% off in centrally located hostels in Manhattan to free nights in Fort Lauderdale. There has been an increase in domestic travel inside the States and HostelsClub is well aware of travelers maintaining their passion for travel yet decreasing their travel allowance. While normal winter activities such as snowboarding and skiing weigh heavily on the pocket, saving on accommodations is definitely a move in the right direction to allow for expenses to be shelled out on the winter sports and fine dining instead.
The average price with these discounts in major cities such as San Diego, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, and New York runs just under $20 per person, some as low as $12 in New York's MiHostel, for example.
Take advantage of Valentine's Day Discounts as well if you are planning to make a weekend getaway. See the East Coast Under $50, where you can get insider tips on how to save while visiting major cities such as DC, NYC and Boston.
HostelsClub features more than 16,000 hostels and budget accommodation worldwide and caters to travelers of all ages including families. No membership is needed and the user-friendly site with interactive maps, guides and reviews makes booking enjoyable in a matter of three clicks.

Travel Dc To Nyc Questions
Can you help me plan a trip from DC to Boston to NYC?
I'm visiting DC/Virginia in late June from CA. I've been to DC a couple of times so I know where to go there. I'm travelling with my wife and 2 kids, but I've got an itch to go to Boston Fenway by myself to catch a game. What's the best, smartest, and most economical way to get from DC to Boston? Where should I stay in Bos with a tight budget in mind? I have a friend I'm meeting there for the first time and he'll probably show me around town and take me to the game. Finally, when I leave Boston, should I go back to DC and then travel to NYC with my family, or should I just have them travel alone (probably by motorcoach) and meet them in NYC? Whatever you suggest, please provide your own real life experience/knowledge. Mapquest info has its limitations of course.
Meet them at the Penn Station in NYC. Don't go four hours each way from NY to DC to meet them. Amtrak gives a discount to AAA members. I suggest you fly from DC to Boston, it's cheaper than the train and it's a very long trip by bus. Try United, but most of the major airlines fly that route and if you book now, it's cheap. There are also Chinese buses that go between the major cities in the northeast and that's the cheapest way. You should return to NYC on the Chinese bus and your family can take that from DC to NYC. They go between China towns in cities. My daughter took one from Boston to NYC which was a van, and my son from NYC to Baltimore. He said they showed kung fu movies with subtitles and it was a nice new bus. http://www.staticleap.com/chinatownbus/
What's Good out-of-state travel car?
Ok. I travel between NYC DC and Ohio a lot and need a good reliable good on gas car. Not looking to buy brand new. I've been thinking about a hybrid or a good gas car made in the early-mid 2000s. I love all suggestions but we all know honda/toyota are good cars so please I would love other suggestions
Take a look at the 2007 thru 2010 Hyundai Elantra. Good on gas, and a great highway car. Surprisingly large trunk. Also one of the best warranties in the business. My Elantra gets 34 to 35 mpg. I have traveled about 420 miles on a tank of gas. Excellent brakes.
Good Luck
